Get The Look — A Valentine’s Day Beat

Hi, friends!

My favorite holiday is here! Valentine’s Day has always been a source of excitement for me, whether single or boo’d up. I love the idea of baking cookies, wearing red, and treating myself to something nice. Honestly, I enjoy the holiday so much more when I’m single. No pressure and no expectations!

Roses are red, and so are my lips!

I had fun creating this rose-inspired makeup look using cruelty-free and “clean” makeup brands. I kept with a red and pink color story and skipped my usual winged eyeliner for a more natural look.

I’ve had my eye on the shades “Supreme” and “Wiggalese” in the ABH x Jackie Aina eyeshadow palette for months now, but I wanted to wait for a special occasion to take them for a spin. Today’s the day!

Did you hear about the rose that grew
from a crack in the concrete?
Proving nature’s law is wrong it
learned to walk with out having feet.
Funny it seems, but by keeping its dreams,
it learned to breathe fresh air.
Long live the rose that grew from concrete
when no one else ever cared.
