We received a few minutes of rain today in Las Vegas. Those few raindrops were appreciated. 

Speaking of moisture, let’s chat briefly about the Minéral 89 Hyaluronic Acid Face Moisturizer by Vichy Laboratories. I unboxed and tried this moisturizer today for the first time. Unlike many serums and moisturizers I’ve used in the past that just sit on my skin, this moisturizer penetrated quickly without leaving any residual product. I like it. 

First Impressions Yea or Nay: Yea

I have a really bad habit of skipping facial moisturizer because usually, it doesn’t dry down well enough to follow up with foundation. I’m giving a preliminary yea to this moisturizer by Vichy because it penetrates quickly and will work well under my liquid foundation. I like that it’s fragrance-free as well. Eczema doesn’t affect me as it did many years ago, but this moisturizer was accepted by the National Eczema Association for those interested.

• Vichy Volcanic Water strengthens the skin barrier and protects from UV rays
• Pure Hyaluronic Acid hydrates and plumps skin

How To Apply

1) Apply 2 drops on your skin after cleansing in the morning and evening

2) Distribute with outward movements from the middle of your face with very light pressure

You can use this as a regular moisturizer by itself or as the first step of your normal skincare/beauty routine. This product is paraben-free, fragrance-free, and oil-free.

Vichy Minéral 89 is designed for all skin types but works to address dry skin specifically. According to the site, it has been clinically tested by 175 dermatologists on 1600 women globally and only contains 11 ingredients.
