Admiring Spring Blooms At Dallas Arboretum

My daughter and I visited the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden on Sunday.

We came expecting to see a fancy shrub or two but were surprised to find 500,000 tulips planted in celebration of Dallas Blooms, the largest annual floral festival in the Southwest.

This six-week festival runs from February 25 to April 16th, showcasing 100 varieties of spring bulbs, 500,000 blossoms, thousands of azaleas, and hundreds of Japanese cherry trees.

Spring is around the corner and oh how I’ve missed her.

Until soon.
