La La Land Kind Cafe prioritizes people, not profits.
I visited La La Land Kind Cafe in Richardson, Texas, yesterday. My daughter and I shared the most delicious slice of avocado toast while I sipped on a French Toast Matcha Latte. Very good.
The best part about our visit? This cafe has a sweet mission. La La Land hires and mentors foster youth to prove it’s possible for a business to “be kind, give back, care about their community, and serve high-quality products while still making a profit.” The “Hey, friend,” and “Love ya!” greetings were also sweet surprises.
All Hail the Queen!
I tried “The Queen” Avocado Toast, a delicious union of mashed avocado, cream cheese, everything seasoning, chili flakes, and lemon. The chili flakes were a bit too intense for my little one but they gave it a nice kick for me. The French Toast Matcha Latte wasn’t overly sweet, which was a nice surprise given the name.
It’s cool to be kind. And, it tastes pretty good, too.
